I have tutored all throughout high school and college. In high school, I tutored math and reading for two girls that had severe dyslexia. In college, I worked at an after-school center in Staten Island for children in the community and ran programs focused on homework help, arts and crafts, and dance at the after-school center. A lot of my experience has been focused on working with children with behavioral problems. I have a lot of patience and work very well with children who tend to be disruptive. I love tutoring because I feel that it is a great way to work with children and impact their lives. My areas of specialty are reading and math. I am able to teach the piano, flute, art (pencil, watercolor, oil painting), and I am fluent in conversational Mandarin.
